Meet Holly!
Holly is a saxophone student at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music; and I had this interesting opportunity to join Holly in her project: performing a Tango by Astor Piazzolla!
Stay tuned though: more projects to come, more music and more challenges for the Duo Sax/Acco...!
A great match for a great music!
The piece she's chosen is "Night Club 1960", the 3rd movement from the suite "Histoire du Tango" by Astor Piazzolla, originally written for Flute and guitar, but we presented our own version for Soprano Sax and Accordion!
Our performance at SCM
We performed "Night Club 1960" on the 7th of November 2025, in front of a small, yet cheering and enthusiastic audience at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music: huge success!
